4 days / 3 nights for 4 people: from €748
6 days / 5 nights for 4 people: from €1,323

Day 1 – Laval market -> Maison Éclusière (18 km)

Start your adventure with a gourmet stop in the heart of old Laval. Its farmers’ market, just a few pedal strokes from the station, is brimming with local treasures: perfect for putting together your picnic for the next day, or enjoying lunch on the banks of the Mayenne.

In the afternoon, follow the course of the river on the towpath, a peaceful and pleasant route that will gently lead you to your first port of call: the Monflours lock (16 km).

Enjoy a convivial evening at the guinguette or opt for a more intimate break in your gîte, where tasty stewed jars and local sweets await you.

Breakfast, bed linen and even towels are provided: travel light and save room for souvenirs.

Day 2 – La Nordique (40 km – 2 km link)

The northernmost loop of our territory!
From Monflours, set off for 40 km along picturesque country roads, punctuated by towpaths and greenways. This escapade plunges you into the heart of our countryside, between farms, hamlets and charming villages.
Pack a picnic lunch to make the most of the break, or return to the gîte if you’re quick and tempted by a second loop! Before heading back to the Mayenne, stop off in Louverné, where you’ll find everything you need for a gourmet break.
Enjoy one last peaceful evening at the lock… Tomorrow, it’s time to pack up!

Day 3 – L’escarpée (35 km – 9 km connection)

For a lighter ride, head for your new lock and set off on a great loop! In Changé, you’ll find everything you need for a delicious picnic. If you’re not in a hurry, why not take advantage of the Ondines park for a quiet snack?

Then it’s a short climb up to the right bank of the Mayenne. This loop, imbued with rural charm, will guide you along winding country roads, through hamlets and countryside.

Back on the banks of the Mayenne, you can relax on the towpath. Don’t forget to enjoy a moment on the lock’s terrace before your evening out. If you’d like to stretch your legs, a short stroll around the lake near the lock awaits you.

Would you rather dine in or eat out in Changé? We’ll let you choose!

Day 4 – La Lavalloise (35 km)

Half-city, half-country… Here, the city blends harmoniously with nature! From the lock gate, a stroll takes you from the banks of the Mayenne to the steep woods, inviting you to savor the slowness of the greenway, shaded and soothing, until you discover the Coupeau site. A veritable treasure trove of greenery, woods and waterways, perfect for a well-deserved break at the guinguette du moulin.

Then continue your journey along the green way and a number of cycle paths, until you come down to the Mayenne. Along the way, you’ll pass the Espace Mayenne, a new landmark in the region, where you may well be able to catch some top-flight cultural and sporting performances!

Day 5 – La Brillante (43 km – 15 km connection)

For this penultimate day on Laval soil, we’ve got you covered! Pass through Laval along the towpath, fill your sneakers at the Halles de la Place, then head for the Port Ringheard lock.

From here, it’s a gentle climb to L’Huisserie (and if you haven’t fuelled up yet, now’s the perfect time, as everything you need is close at hand). The rest of your adventure takes you along wooded cycle paths, winding country roads, a bit of green way, and picturesque villages such as Ahuillé, Montigné-le-Brillant, and Nuillé-sur-Vicoin, all great opportunities to meet the people of Mayenne.

Back at the towpath, put down your bikes and cross the Mayenne to explore the other bank on foot or by bike. And if you’re in time, you can take home a gourmet souvenir from the Entrammes cheese factory!

Day 6 – Return (12 km)

To bring this touring experience to a gentle close, we’ll let you savor every moment… Depending on your train time, you may have time to enjoy a boat ride from the river stop, discover the majestic Perrine garden, or extend the pleasure with a final gourmet moment in a waterside café-vélo, auberge or guinguette!
